Chicks on TV
Friday night, Michelle Buteau's appearance on Premium Blend premiered. She invited friends and comics to a viewing party at Blondies. C&G Alums Margot Leitman, Kelly Nichols and Jen Dzuira were on hand to celebrate.
This weekend, I saw Poppi Kramer on the first episode of the second season of "The Gastineau Girls". If you blinked then you may have missed her. She was one of the applicants to be a personal assistant to Lisa Gastineau.

On Thursday, November 17, I had the pleasure of hosting comics Katina Corrao, Jen Dziura, Lorca Morello, Giulia Rozzi and Jenny Rubin at our fundraiser for the YWCA, held at 440 Studios. Here's what the folks from the Y had to say about our show:

The show’s poster claims the show has the “funniest females ever” and on the basis of what we saw on Tuesday, that may not be a boast without foundation - because we were treated to some classy material from some extremely entertaining ladies, all skillfully kept moving along at a pace by co-producer Carolyn Castiglia, who’s currently juggling her stand up work with being a mother to a five-week-old baby girl. I don’t know where she gets the energy - but I have a feeling it might not be available at Rite Aid.

Lianne Stokes’ “Do I look like a motherfuckin’ mindreader?” routine will stay with me for a very long time, as will Mindy Raf’s painfully funny impersonation of an average Midwest girl having an orgasm. Chicks & Giggles: November 15 Recap
Last night's show was sizzling hot! We had some unexpected changes in the line-up but it worked out perfectly in the end. The comics brought their "A+" game and the crowd was howling with laughter. Carolyn, the hostess with the mostest kicked off our show!

Our show this past Tuesday was another stellar star accentuated by the return of our host, Carolyn Castiglia. Yay!

Chicks Kick Greg Wilson's Butt
Chicks and Giggles had our first real challenge since moving to Mo Pitkins, a packed room! Yay! I didn’t take pictures as I was busy keeping time and watching the crowd. Plus, I was in the corner so I couldn’t get good pictures anyway. Michelle Buteau rocked as host. She kept the crowd laughing which was full of people (mostly men) who were waiting to see The Greg Wilson in the other room. The crowd loved our “vadging” out comedy. Some even stayed until our show was done before heading over hear Greg! Katina led off the night with Weight Watchers jokes and flirted with audience members. Michelle Maclay had some sexy and dirty jokes that I had never heard before. Robin Fox had hot jokes about her son’s morning pop-up tent and Lianne did the infamous “Mind Reader” to a whole new crowd. Rounding out the show was AB Carney’s dark humor and Liz Miele’s blessed humor. Everyone loves our gorgeous Irish bartender Thomas, and I think the feeling is mutual. Come check out the show next Tuesday!
